Search engines are systems or applications that collect data and add them to indexes, ready for searching. The most common form of search engine is a web search engine, designed for users and computers to find information on the World Wide Web. Google is the most famous search engine, owning over 90% of the global search engine market. Other search engines include Bing, Yahoo!, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Lycos, Ask, and many others.
