LOGiCFACE posts about Blerds

The term ‘blerd’ is a portmanteau of ‘Black’ and ‘nerd’, attempting to showcase the achievements of Black people in a community that often hides them.

For some, being a blerd can feel like straddling two mutually exclusive worlds. But being black and being a nerd is a rewarding experience. Blerds are often some of the most passionate and knowledgeable people you’ll ever meet, and the blerd community is inclusive and welcoming.

This page shows the work of Blerds within the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) community.
