Happy new year! Seeing as we have entered a new year, I thought I’d do another arbitrary facts blog about the number 2024.

  • 2024 will be the year that 7 of the top 10 most populous countries will holding elections, including the United States, Russia, and India
  • The sum of 2024’s digits is 8, which is a lucky number in China
  • 280 seconds is equal to 33 minutes, 44 seconds so a little but more than the average UK lunch break
  • 2024 is a Harshad number
  • 2024 is a wasteful number, since it uses less digits than its factorization.
  • 2024 is also an odious number
