I can’t believe I missed this: back in Christmas 2020, Microsoft tweeted a fake commercial for a Christmas album called Microsoft Holiday Hits. The 60-track album contained classics such as:
- Joy To The Word
- Please Mute Ye Merry Gentlemen
- Windows Wonderland
- “You’re On Mute” Night
- Let It Segoe! Let It Segoe! Let It Segoe!
- Deck The Halls With ’90s Clip Art
And, my favourite, Bing-le Bells. Bravo, Microsoft! This was your best product launch since Windows 95.
