Two University of Michigan alumnae talked about their experiences in aerospace engineering back in March. They were Barbara Richardson, the first Black woman to graduate from the aerospace engineering undergraduate program at the University of Michigan, and Jasmine LeFlore, who graduated in 2015.
Topics included life in the segregated south, working in the aerospace program, workplace conflicts, racism and sexism, and their respective community work.
