The Retro Future gave a Japanese Gameboy Pocket a new lease of life with some rubbing alcohol and Mr Sheen.
There’s nothing more satisfying than a tech refurb video (if you’re into that sort of thing and I am). I’ve been following The Retro Future on YouTube for a few months now and I love the simplicity and minimalism in his work. In this video, he purchased a Gameboy Pocket from Japan with a smashed screen for about $20 and brought it back to working order. I won’t reveal how he fixed the screen but it’s a lot easier than you’d think. All in all, a great look into restoring old tech with minimum fuss.
