I’ve covered a few Pokédex projects over the years (see ASH, a real-life Pokédex for kids to identify plants and animals, how to create your own working Pokédex, and a Pokédex on Android). Well, BigRig Creates entered the chat with what they’ve called the “world’s smartest Pokédex”.
Compared to the other Pokédexes I’ve featured, this one goes all out with 3D printing, AI voice functionality, and computer vision so it can identify Pokémon as it “sees” them. It’s remarkable how much as gone into this and the AI use isn’t just generative nonsense.
